The Xerces Society recently added a Pollinator Conservation Resource Center to their website. You can find lots of information on bee-friendly plants and constructing various nest boxes and sticks for native solitary bees. The PCRC does not have a lot of information about specific bees–although if you click on native bee biology, you will find basic information on native bees.
The Xerces Society site has interesting information on various invertebrates. Take some time and tour around the site. You might even consider joining up to receive their magazine, Wings. It always has great photos and articles about some of the most interesting animals you may never have noticed.
